Kahuna Studios is an independent game development studio based in North Texas, creating original games built around strategy, strong gameplay systems, and memorable presentation.

Founded in 2009 as a personal R&D project, Kahuna Studios has evolved into the home of my independent game development work—combining decades of professional game and software engineering experience with the freedom to build original experiences.

In 2026, Kahuna Studios released Kingsfall: Chess on Steam, a cinematic 2.5D fantasy chess game featuring animated battles, challenging AI opponents, and local and online multiplayer.

Development is now underway on Ashfall Command, a 2.5D strategy game centered around base construction, tactical attacks, battlefield defense, resource management, and strategic AI.

My professional background includes work with Treyarch/Activision, Sony (SCEA), Rockstar Games, Disney Interactive, and Trion Worlds, experience that continues to influence both the creative and technical approach behind Kahuna Studios.
